ICT Project 

We provide accessible and engaging content, we intend to inform more people about PTENGs' potential as a source of clean energy. We aim to demonstrate how PTENG technology can be used to empower individuals and communities, and how our website can serve as a valuable resource for those interested in exploring the potential of PTENG. We are committed to empowering individuals and communities through the use of technology. As part of our dedication to this mission, we have developed a project that applies the concepts and principles learned in our technology courses to real-world problems. One such project was developed as a requirement for the successful completion of our empowerment technologies subject. Through this project, we applied the knowledge and skills gained in the course to address a pressing issue related to the use of technology in empowering individuals and communities. We are proud to have been able to leverage our expertise in this way, and we remain committed to using technology as a powerful tool for positive change. Our website will provide guidance and resources to help individuals and communities to build their own PTENG devices and incorporate them into their individual lives. In order to build a more sustainable future, we want to aid individuals and communities in utilizing pteng.

About Our Project

Triboelectric Nanogenerator

We can create friction by rubbing two objects together. Friction produces static electricity by initiating the transfer of electrons between two or more objects. Concerning electron transfers, objects are either conductors or insulators. Conductors give up electrons readily because the electrons are not confined to a particular atom. Insulators do not transfer electrons readily.

Our project needed friction to work. The more friction, the more energy we get. We can put it on a mouse pad, rag, or anywhere that involves friction, but our major target is to put it on the road beside bumps so every time a vehicle passes by, we can acquire more energy. This energy can be stored first in batteries to produce a larger amount of electricity, which can benefit our community.

​This project will be placed beside the bumps, so automatically the driver will slow down his vehicle, and it will help the community to lessen vehicle accidents.

Benefits to community 

When there is an emergency, we can use the energy that has been stored to assist others who cannot afford electricity, such as those who live in mountains where it is very difficult to get electricity.

Economical and accessible project

This project will definitely be low-cost due to the materials that will be used, but it will be effective. People can have it everywhere: at home, on the playground, or at their work station.

Renewable energy source 

There are many methods of generating electricity, including solar energy, power plants, and geothermal energy, but generating energy through friction is one of the best ways to acquire electricity. It has no negative effect on our environment, and it is easy to acquire energy from it.

Production 

​To produce electrical energy, we want to acquire the accumulated electrons in this project to make use of the number of vehicles that are crossing the road. The concept of gaining energy through friction leads us to the conclusion that the more vehicles that cross the road, the more electricity we will generate.
